Tax preparation for AARP Foundation Tax-Aide and Prince George's Community College.

"AARP Foundation Tax-Aide"

We know some of our members have typically used the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide service to have their taxes completed. While details are still being worked out, the local volunteers are planning to offer some form of remote (virtual) tax assistance this year. They do not expect to have any in-person tax preparation. Additional details are expected to be available in the next few weeks.

Visit the website. On the Home Page, scroll down to the bottom and click on Tax-Aide which appears under the heading: Information for You. The introductory message on this page states that the webpage will be updated in February. The client should continue to access the website until updated information explains how to seek tax return preparation help for this tax season.

In addition to seeking help from the website, we eventually will have a phone number for clients to call.

The number of clients that can be assisted by the program will vary based on volunteer availability. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance free of charge to anyone, with a special focus on taxpayers who are 50 or older or who have low to moderate income.
